DOMVEX-PLUS™ Capsule is a combination medicine used to treat gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), acidity, heartburn, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, and gastric motility disorders. It combines a proton pump inhibitor (Esomeprazole) with a prokinetic agent (Domperidone) to provide effective and long-lasting relief from acid reflux and associated symptoms.

Esomeprazole reduces excess acid production in the stomach, while Domperidone improves gastrointestinal movement and prevents nausea and vomiting. This dual action makes DOMVEX-PLUS particularly effective in patients with acid reflux accompanied by bloating, fullness, or delayed gastric emptying.

How it works

DOMVEX-PLUS Capsule is a combination of two medicines:

  • Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by blocking the acid-producing pumps in the stomach, thereby reducing acid secretion.
  • Domperidone is a prokinetic and anti-emetic agent that improves stomach and intestinal movement and prevents nausea and vomiting.

Together, they provide effective relief from acid-related and motility-related gastrointestinal disorders.

Dosage & administration

Take DOMVEX-PLUS Capsule exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken before meals for maximum benefit. Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not chew, crush, or open the capsule. Do not stop the medicine without consulting your physician.

It is usually taken before food, preferably in the morning.

Side effects

Most side effects are mild and usually go away as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or worsen.
